I'd rather over accessorize than over analyze.

Hello! Fiona here with some thoughts on fashion to start your week off right. I have loved fashion and "dressing up" my whole life. When I was little my parents always let me pick out my own clothing, which often resulted in me wearing clashing colors and five different patterns at once. Evidently, I have always been adventurous in choosing my outfits. That being said, while I think I have great style everyone else doesn't always agree. But I do love fashion, and that's why I will be here every Monday giving you a little bit of commentary on fashion as I see it.

One of my fashion mantras is "I'd rather over accessorize than over analyze." I firmly believe accessorizing can make or break an outfit and I would always say to err on the side of too much than too little (much to the dismay of fellow blogger Penelope.) The proper accessories can make the difference between looking thrown together or put together. While there is a point that wearing too many flashy accessories becomes a faux pas, it would be much worse to look just plain blah. There are many ways to spice up an outfit with accessories, a plain t-shirt and jeans becomes much more memorable with a flashy headband, statement necklace, or pretty scarf (although I wouldn't recommend wearing these all at once.) So ladies, stop analyzing and start accessorizing.
